There is just something comforting to me about a whole roasted chicken. Whether in the oven or crockpot, I am just in comfort heaven when a whole chicken comes to the table. This recipe could not be more simple. Put the chicken in the slow cooker, rub a few ingredients all over the outside, cover, and walk away! Come back a few hours later to an amazing aroma and succulent chicken!
SLOW COOKER - ROSEMARY & GARLIC WHOLE CHICKEN
I begin by making a rub for the chicken. Start with Seasoning Salt.
A very big helping of Chopped Garlic and Rosemary!
A little Ground Black Pepper and a dash of Olive Oil.
Stir together to make a paste and spread over your chicken which you have placed in the Slow Cooker.
Massage it in a little.
Cover and set on High for 6-7 hours or Low for 7-8 hours.
If you happen to be at home all day, you may be tortured by the amazing aromas coming from this pot!
Pick up your chicken, (that will be falling a part...) and set on a platter.
Serve and Enjoy!
