It's the start of Picnic Season!
I love getting together with friends and family outdoors. I especially enjoy sampling new side dishes that guests bring to share.
Macaroni Salad is simple, refreshing, and tasty! (Make it the day before and save yourself some time!)
Finely dice an onion. And grate 3 tablespoons of carrots.
Open and drain a can of Tuna packed in water.
Cook a pound of elbow noodles. When they are al dente, drain and rinse them with cold water until the noodles are cooled.
Dump your noodles on top of the tuna in a large bowl. (It's ok if you spill a little on the counter)
Start mixing it all together.
Add salt and grind in some fresh cracked pepper.
For best results, refrigerate for a few hours.
Enjoy this delicious addition to your favorite Picnic Menu!
1 lb. Cooked Elbow Macaroni (Drained and rinsed in cold water)
1 small Onion finely diced
3 Tbsp. Grated Carrot
2 3/4 C. Mayonnaise
2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Fresh Cracked Pepper
1 can of Tuna packed in Water (drained)
Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Refrigerate for a few hours. Serve and enjoy!
