Kia Sorento Review

This month our family was able to test drive a brand new 2014 Kia Sorento! Our family really enjoyed driving this car around. My husband and I took turns driving the Sorento. I am pretty sure that he would have taken it the whole time. And he was sad when we had to give it back!

The size of the car was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of room for carseats and groceries. It also had decent gas for a mini SUV. 18-20 mpg in the city and 25-26 mpg Hwy.

Here's little Gemma ready for a ride! She loved it!

The Sorento is a really nice looking car too!

Plenty of room in the trunk for everything we lug around. We also had the option of putting up the seats and making a third row. When the third row is up you can seat a total of seven.

Everyone in the family loved the panoramic sun-roof. It is perfect to let a little extra sun and breeze into the car as we were driving. Plus, the kids seem to really enjoy watching the sky as we drove.

I really like some of the extra features on the Sorento. One of the features I liked the most was the signal in the rear view mirror that let you know if someone was in your blind spot. That was truly helpful and provided added safety while driving. You can tell they put thought into the design and little details in the vehicle which made the drive pleasant and comfortable.

Another great feature on the Sorento is the steering wheel. Controls right at your fingertips! I could sync my phone and make and answer phone calls through the vehicle audio system which made it very convenient to be hands free.

Of course, I appreciate the extra help with the built in navigation system! Set exact directions or see where exactly you are.

I love the heated and cooled seats! It is fall and on a chilly morning it is nice to heat your seat and warm up a little faster. Both the heat and AC worked amazing.

The push start and stop button is a fun feature as well.

Having a direct USB plug is perfect for charging my iPhone in the car. And I like the option for the AUX plug to play my own music directly off my iPod and phone.

There is so much more I could say about the Sorento... like the smooth ride, and the memory seats, the remote-keyless entry, and roomy back seats... even the cup holders were great! Overall it had everything I could want in an SUV and is very competitively priced with other makes and models. We are missing the Sorento already.

I would recommend anyone in the market for a mini SUV that they check out the Kia Sorento. Head over to your nearest Kia dealer and tell them Rachel Lee Coppola sent you from Saving and More!
