Easy Hummus

   

Have you tried Hummus? It is so good! It is one of those addicting dips that unlike most dips is not horrible for you. It is naturally gluten free and high in protein. It doesn't take very long to whip together a batch of Hummus. Grab your blender and a can of Chick Peas!

EASY HUMMUS

Begin by draining and rinsing two cans of Garbanzo Beans.

Add some Tahini. (Tahini is sesame seed paste. It is thick and gloopy. It can be found in the ethnic food section of your grocery store.)

Pour in some Lemon Juice.

A little Salt.

And you have to have Garlic!!!

Add a little Olive Oil. Begin pulsing the blender. I add a tablespoon of water at a time to get it the consistency I want.

Serve with Pita Bread or Tortilla Chips. ENJOY!

EASY HUMMAS

2 cans Garbanzo Beans, rinsed & drained

1/4 C. Tahini

1/3 C. Lemon Juice

1/2 Tsp Salt

1 Tbsp minced Garlic

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

2-4 Tbsp Water

Paprika for garnish

Combine beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic, olive oil in a blender. Pulse the blender. Add water a tablespoon at a time until you get a smooth consistency. Pour into a serving dish. Sprinkle paprika to garnish.  ENJOY!
