Cranberry-Apple Pork Ribs Crock Pot Recipe

My Cousin, Sara, made this tonight and said it was wonderful!

Cranberry-Apple Pork Ribs Crock Pot Recipe

2 cups cranberries (8 ounces)
1/2 cup water
1 cup Applesauce
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 to 4 pounds boneless country style pork ribs
1 large onions, sliced
4 Potatoes
1 lb of Parsnips or Carrots
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water, optional*

Combine the Cranberries, water, applesauce, maple syrup, and brown sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Add in Mustard, Nutmeg and Cinnamon.

In the crock pot, Add in the Onions, Pork, Parsnips, and Potatoes. Pour the Cranberry mixture over all of it.

Cook:
Low Heat 8-10 hrs
High Heat 4-6 Hrs

To thicken the sauce after cooking take out the pork and add the cornstarch mixture.
